Pettycur Bay Holiday Park is on the A921 between Burntisland and Kinghorn.
The Edinburgh to Kirkcaldy rail service stops at Kinghorn about ¾ mile from the caravan site. There is also a bus service from Burntisland to Kinghorn which stops at the entrance to the site.
Coming by car from Edinburgh, the Lothians or Stirlingshire, cross the Forth Road Bridge, drive past the Rosyth turnoff and exit at Junction 1.
Go under the motorway and take the A921 east through Aberdour and Burntisland.
Continue until you pass the Grange Garage Car Showroom on your left (blue/white notice), turn right at the small roundabout, follow the road to the bottom of the hill and then turn left.
Drive past the park on your right and eventually past two green/white caravan site notices.
Entrance to Pettycur Bay caravan site is on your left beside the bus stop.
Arriving and Leaving
SVDP person parks the car near reception no earlier than 2.00 pm and presents the letter of authority to the receptionist. She will hand over the keys to the SVDP caravan, which is at 28 West Crichton Park. Drive the family to the caravan and park at the side of the road opposite the caravan.
When leaving at the end of the holiday the SVDP person hands in the keys to the receptionist by 10.00 am.
