DESCRIPTION:St Andrew & Edinburgh Annual Mass\nThe Archdiocese of St Andrew & Edinburgh will hold their annual Mass on Saturday 18th November at 1pm\, in the historic St Margaret’s Memorial Church in East Port\, Dunfermline\, which also has the relic of St Margaret of Scotland in the church. \nWith the feast of St Margaret on 16th November and “First World Day of the Poor”  designated by Pope Francis on the 19th November and of course\, 2017 being the 400th Anniversary of the Vincentian Charism\, it would be wonderful to have as many people to join in the special celebration. \nArchbishop Leo Cushley will be the main celebrant for this joyous occasion. \nA buffet will be provided in the beautiful Tiffany’s lounge in the Historic Carnegie Hall directly across the road from the church. \nWe would delighted if you could join us at this Annual Mass. \n  \n  \n  \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Consecration to the Sacred Heart    \nJoin with members from across the country in a joyful celebration in Consecration to the Sacred Heart. Re-introduced in 2016\, the Mass provides the opportunity for members to spend time together in prayer and friendship. \n  \nArchbishop Leo Cushley will once again celebrate the Mass\, which will be held in the magnificent surroundings of the Gillis Centre in Edinburgh’s south side.  All are then welcome to enjoy light refreshments in the hall after Mass. \n  \nAll are most welcome to attend this Mass\, however we would be grateful if any Conferences with  more than 4 people attending could notify SSVP National Office on 0141 226 8833 or email admin@ssvpscotland.com to allow organisers to account for numbers for catering. \n  \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:An evening of quality entertainment awaits you at the Annual Charity Concert 2017!\nA packed evening will see Geoff Graham\, the Gordon Cree Trio\, Alastair McDonald and Eddie Devine entertaining  on Friday 12th May\, from 7.30 to 10pm. \nNot only is a great night promised\, but your £12 ticket money will help the Ozanam Centre. They  provide food\, clothing and a warm welcome in Glasgow’s City centre. \nThe centre\, which has been operating  for many years is run solely by volunteers . It opens three times a week to welcome some of the poorest and vulnerable people from in and around Glasgow. On Thursday 20th April\, former Chief Medical Officer Sir Harry Burns will speak to the assembled audience. \nThe talk\, which will be held in Blessed John Duns Scotus Hall in the Gorbals\, will commence at 7.30pm. Attendees will be welcome to enjoy refreshments after the talk. \nSir Harry is renowned for this work of poverty and inequality\, and particularly the ‘Glasgow Effect‘.
