DESCRIPTION:Integrating Life and Faith – Encounter Calais\n \nAs stories of lives lost and attempts to cross the Channel continue to make the news there is increasing awareness of the humanitarian disaster taking place at the UK border for thousands of vulnerable refugees. The Integrating Life and Faith group at St Joseph’s Church\, Clarkston are hosting Danny Sweeney (Justice and Peace Scotland) who will speak about the situation from his firsthand experiences as a volunteer with Care4Calais\, one of the aid organisations on the frontline of the UK’s hostile border policies. The evening will provide space for learning\, reflection and discussion. 9th December\, 7:30pm. \nAll are welcome.
