Elizabeth Herlihy from St Peter's, Aberdeen has volunteered to become the first SSVP member in Scotland to coordinate the content of our new website for her Diocese.  She will receive some simple training and will then start entering details of news, events and Conference information.  Elizabeth will be helped by Hilary Young from St Joseph's and Bill Sharkey from Holy Family who will edit contributions from members.

Meeting:

First Saturday of the month at 3.45 pm in the Church of Scotland hall, Dyce.

There are 5 active members.

Food Parcels:

Parishioners are very generous with their donations of non-perishable food. 

These are distibuted weekly - some via Holy Family Church, Mastrick.

Families:

A number of folks are visited regularly, and assistance is given with transport to Mass and doctors' appointments.

Bus Run:

In August a Mystery Trip was organised with 36 parishioners enjoying a countryside trip through to Turriff followed by a high tea in Ellon.

Parish Room, 6.00 pm second and fourth Wednesday of each month.

Food Parcels:

Available from Parish house, 3 Chapel Court, on request.

Donations of tinned food, preferably with ring pulls, gratefully accepted at weekend masses.

(Vigil - Saturday 6.00 pm and Sunday 11.15 am.)

Families:

Annual Christmas party for pensioners.

Winter months only - Street Feeding: serve soup and sandwiches in Salvation Army Citadel at 6.30 pm on first and third Wednesday of month with St Columba's.

From September 2012 - cooking and serving soup in Crown Terrace Baptist Church at Quay Project for Bethany Trust.
