Last year during each day during Lent, Scotland’s SSVP President read a section of Laudati Si. This year she is giving up plastic and encourages others to think about doing the same – even if just for a part of it e.g. a day/ week.

Even if you aren’t ready to give up plastic for Lent why not sign up for the Big Plastic Count which is taking place in March as a start. This campaign is a good reminder of just how much plastic a household uses in one week and may trigger some thoughts about how this could be reduced.
