The popular Breakfast Briefing series will take place again this year and we have a whole host of speakers exploring different areas of policy and research. The Breakfast Briefing series is a perfect way to kick off each morning of Challenge Poverty Week, each day we align them with our themes for the week. - Monday 6th October, 9am – Social Security (Minimum Income Guarantee)
- Tuesday 7th October, 9:30am – Jobs (Better jobs, pay, hours, conditions and worker voice)
- Wednesday 8th October, 9:30am – Life’s Essentials (Focus on Fuel Poverty)
- Thursday 9th October, 9:30am – Communities and Volunteers (Fair funding for the third sector)
Friday’s Breakfast Briefing for Climate day will be an ‘In Conversation with’ session with award winning climate activist,environmental scientist, and ethical influencer – Laura Young(@LessWasteLaura), and chaired by Becky Kenton-Lake Coalition Manager at Stop Climate Chaos Scotland.
