Faith Action for Refugees is hosting an exciting ecumenical event on Saturday, 25 March. You are invited to join us at a one-day gathering called ‘Journeying with New Scots – Building community with refugees and asylum seekers’
When: Saturday, 25th March 10am – 3.30pm
Where: St Mark’s Parish Church in Raploch, Stirling.
Churches and refugees & asylum seekers (New Scots) from across Scotland will be gathering to worship together, share experiences, grow in knowledge, and strengthen our ties as people with a shared passion for creating welcoming communities. As places of hope and sanctuary churches are at the heart of building community with New Scots. Whether you have extensive experience of welcoming refugees and asylum seekers, or are just exploring journeying with New Scots, all are welcome.
You can sign up for the conference, and see additional details on the Eventbrite page
The event is free and open to church leaders and members from all denominations, as well as members of all faiths, though it will be a specifically Christian gathering. If you have any questions please email david.moodie@churchofscotland.org.uk
