Vinflix: a great new communication tool in the Vincentian Family

Vincentian Family Office | Jul 15, 2020

“Vinflix was born today as a new website for the Vincentian Family to facilitate videos (both short and long) that creatively explore the Vincentian call to globalise charity . In continuity with what was experienced during the festival “Finding Vicente 400″ , held in Rome from October 18 to 21, 2018, on this website we continue to tell stories with the aim of changing our perspective on poverty.

We started with a small selection of videos, with the intention of increasing it periodically and frequently. The site is available in five languages: English, Spanish, Italian, French and Portuguese.

In the Vincentian Family we are convinced that artists can bring about positive change in this world . For this reason, VinFlix emerges as the creative expression of the artists who advocate the globalization of charity. It is an integral part of the work of the Vincentian Family, on behalf of and for those who fight poverty in all its forms.

Our intention is to support 21st century storytellers and motivate the viewer with films that change our perspective on poverty in our communities, to share the charism through creativity inspired by the Vincentian mission to globalize charity.”

Click on vinflix.net to see the launch of this groundbreaking new platform. There are 12 excellent short documentary style films there already plus a heartwarming dance video from Vincentian Students in Ukraine.  Hopefully this is something that the Youth members of  SSVP Scotland and their teachers can contribute to. We are blessed in Scotland to have  many talented people in the fields of film-making and media. This is essential in our world of today to share the work of our Society as we serve the poor.
